There are not many rules for this forum, but here they are. By using this forum you agree to abide by them.
1. Play nice.
No bickering on the site. Take arguments to private email if you cannot resolve it amiably here. If things get too heated I will lock the thread.
Respect that others may only just be starting out, and may not have the wealth of experience that you have. Treat any questions that new members post seriously and don't just post mocking responses. We were all newbies once.
2. Play safe
Be careful about sharing personal information. No phone numbers in public chat areas please.
3. This is not a pickup joint
Beyond Gender is about fun, friendship and trying to promote a positive image of the TG community. There are other sites which cater to sexual contacts. Please take that chat there.
If you receive offensive PM's please let me know.
4. The moderators are only human.
We may make mistakes. Be nice to us
If we ask you to end a discussion or get it back on topic please listen to us.
The management reserve the right to lock and move threads. Usually we will not delete it outright, just move it to an area only the moderators can access to calm things down.
5. Topics to avoid
Please avoid discussing politics or religion. Everyone has their own viewpoint and these kind of discussions can get heated. Take them elsewhere.
Please avoid discussions that are basically labels debates - trying to define who is a Transvestite and who is Transsexual. There are many reasons why its best to leave this nest of snakes along, too numerous to mention here.

If a moderator feels a thread is about to start a flame war between different members then they will lock it and move it.
